After reading the recent Ghostbusters 2 thread, I started thinking about all the movies the Statue of Liberty has been in.
She's been in tons of movies!

What other movies feature the Statue of Liberty?
I'll start it off:
1.) Remo Williams The Adventure Begins
(please, only one movie per response. Thanks!)
2) Splash
3) Men In Black 2
PLANET of the APES (1968)

5) Judge Dredd
6) Cloverfield
7) James Glickenhaus' The Protector (1985).
8) Hitchcock's SABOTEUR (1942)

I'll be interested to see how high this list can go.

Just about any film with immigrants coming to America is going to have that shot of them spotting ol' Lady Liberty from the boat. So if those count:
10) TITANIC
Too bad we can't include TV show episodes. There's a kick-ass episode of
Thundarr the Barbarian where the statue comes to life and shoots laser beams from her torch!

11) The Day After Tomorrow
12.) G.I. Joe the Movie started off with Cobra attacking the Statue of Liberty...
Would Spaceballs (1987) (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0094012/) count?
13.) Escape from New York
(http://i658.photobucket.com/albums/uu308/Ridge91/efny.jpg)
It was used as a HQ by the police forces.
14.) European Vacation (1985)

Ozzymandias speaks: I believe it is Abbott and Costello Goes to Mars where the Stature of Liberty pulls her dress up and lets a spaceship fly between her legs.
Spirit of 76 has the gag involving Julie Brown as a striper Miss Liberty in the year 1976. At the end the people of the future have a patriotic parade with a girl dressed in this striper's Miss Liberty outfit.
I know this has nothing to do with a movie, but one of the goofiest things I ever seen reguarding the Statue of Liberty was in front of a payday loan shop here in Springfield Mo. They hired girls to stand out in front of the store dress as the Statue of Liberty. I was at a stoplight in front of one of these stores and the girl dressed as the Statue of Liberty was about eight months pregnant.

Ha!
We have two of those stores here and they have girls do the same thing.
The place is called "American Payday Loans" or something.
Nothing says liberty like a high-interest loan.
18) Working Girl.
Lady Liberty starts the film!
19. The Godfather part II
20. Octopus 2: River of Fear
