Title: The Dude Who Laughs at Ice and Sub-Zero Temps
Post by: BTM on June 23, 2009, 09:33:07 AM
I just read a really amazing article about this guy who, for some reason, seems completely UNBOTHERED by cold and ice.  For whatever reason, low temperatures just do not seem to affect this guy.  He's climbed Mt Everest with nothing on but a pair of SHORTS.  Just for "fun" he keeps breaking the record for time spent in a glass container up to his a neck in ice cubes (a record, I might add, only he has ever made an attempt at.)

Just don't know what else to say, it boggles my mind to even think about it.

You can read more about the guy here http://abcnews.go.com/Health/Story?id=4393377&page=1 (http://abcnews.go.com/Health/Story?id=4393377&page=1)

Maybe they should give this guy a guest spot on Heroes...  :)

Maybe he can do what David Blaine did only in a slightly less smug and self satisfying way.

My later father was the same way. Though, he never attempted to climb Mount Everest in nothing but a pair of shorts. But, he'd work outdoors in the coldest weather, bare chested. The doctors tried to figure out how he could do it, but they could never figure it out. The best explanation they could come up with, was that he had a "built-in heater."
