all that i can remember is, people come from outerspace comes to earth to get the USA constitution, all charactes wears theirselves like the 60´s.

in the end of movie one of them bought a pant with the constitution printed on it, he returned to his planet, and the were a parade to celebrate it.

They weren't from another planet, but were time travelers from the future trying to visit 1776 but ended up in 1976 by mistake.
