Title: Adult film with virtual reality? Saw it 1999 on Cinemax or similar channel.

First off, I don't believe it's virtual encounters 1 or 2.  May have been on HBO, Cinemax, or another movie channel like that.  All I can remember about it was that a guy put on a virtual reality headset and was put into a scenario where he had sex with a woman.  I think it was a virtual reality thing he made himself.  Could have been in 1999 or 2000.  Anyone have a clue?

Was it a porno?

If not, it sounds like it might be Strange Days.

This sounds a little like an episode of Showtimes the Outer Limits with Natasha Henstridge.  The episode was called "Bits of Love."  Only, he wasn't wearing a headset.  It was some sort of full body cocoon.

While I haven't seen it, this sounds a lot like Virtual Girl. This is the best description of it that I could find: Virtual Girl (http://www.cyberpunkreview.com/movie/decade/1990-1999/virtual-girl/).

Brainstorm [1983. A team of researchers develops a machine that can record a person's experiences and then allow others to access those experiences as a sort of hyper-virtual-reality. Warning: not a movie for kids or overly sensitive adults, because it explores the experience of death. Great cast (Christopher Walken, Louise Fletcher, Natalie Wood (in her last movie before her death by drowning), and Cliff Robertson) directed by fx maestro Douglas Trumbull.]
