I assume someone misdialled my mobile yesterday…

I didn’t pick up at the time but when I found out someone rang, even though it was an unknown number to me, well, out of curiosity I decided to ring back.
I expected the phone ring and for someone to pick up and say, 'sorry, I must have pressed the wrong button.'
Didn’t happen.
I think (I’m not sure as I’ve never encountered them before) I was put through to the operators ?!?!
If I was put through to a company that was trying to sell me something they normally have a recorded message that says something like ‘Thank you for calling [insert company name here] if you would like to...’
The number starts with 0844 which is premium number businesses use…and they don’t use it to call people, you’re meant to use it to call them…And usually the phone just rings or you‘re put on hold, but they still tell you what you’ve called
Apparently I was the first in the queue. Three times.

It wasn’t a normal misdialling that someone made. Now I know it wasn’t my phone network because they only contact by text.
The Sherlock Holmes in me is awake and I will find out who rang me !
Well…I can’t do it now because my phone has run out of credit trying to get through…but soon…I need to know…

Anyway...
Who ever rang me, I can only ring back on my mobile.
For some reason, when I use my land line the words 'Not Possible' come up.
Weird.
Okay...
I finally got through to an international call company.
It was a British voice...which was odd.
I'm thinking that maybe it was the British branch, the call comes from another country and the person who called talks to me through them.
Maybe it was Darksider ! :wink:
