I'm looking for this movie. Liked it when I first saw it. Its from the 90's. Its about this teenager that comes into possession of one of two mystical rings that super enhances his martial arts skills. The other ring is possessed by a bad guy. . . how else would it be? Anyway a specific scene is this kid is at a high school prom and is attacked by about twenty something henchman belonging to the bad guy and he whoops them all. The police arrive and arrest him and hold him on twenty something counts of assault. Police handcuff him to a chair and call his mommy. while talking to the mother and the cops the kid bust out of the handcuffs using the rings powers and jumps through the plate glass window of the interrogation room.
Later he is fighting the bad guy and somehow the kid loses his ring or breaks it and then he is reminded that the power of the ring comes from within and he suddenly has the powers back.
I cant remember the name of the movie or who was in it. any help would be greatly appreciated.
