Post star wars /Spielberg, you had to put a LITTLE more work into your movies, espeically if they were science fiction, this is a prime example. If Dreamscape had been made in the 70's it would have been more of a grindhouse feature. There would have been advantages to that but here at least you have some decent acting, especailly dennis Quaid, and a plot where they took the extra 15 seconds to make sure there weren't any gaping holes, however implausible the whole thing is. At the least this is an entertaining little time waster and it's got some stuff that wil surprise. Speaking of grindhouse boy would I have liked to have seen a little more of the hot scientist lady. I mean, wow ...EPIC tease. a b movie with some A attributes. 4.25 / 5 message is anti war if that appeals to you
most misleading cover art I can recall seeing in some time

I discovered this movie during my early teens on TV, found it quite scary (those hands / claws and, specially, that post-nuclear wasteland at the end). I found it to be lamer on subsequent viewings, but still somehow charming.
