Title: 80's movie lady gets a robot butler the modifies his personality so he loves her

I can't remember the name of this movie! It's was a movie made in the 80's where a woman gets a robot  butler then modifies his personality so he loves her. They stay in a cabin somewhere and his personality gets more bizarre where he ends up killing a couple of her friends, keeps her hostage. She pretends to drown to escape him. He thinks she's dead and starts to kill himself, then sees her watching and tries to kills her.
