what are some of your favorite monsters that are goofy. mines are The creature from the haunted sea, it conquered the world, and the party beach monster that has hot dogs for teeth. :teddyr:
The aliens in 'Bad Taste' are pretty goofy, I read that their foreheads are slanted because otherwise the molds they were made from would not fit in Peter Jackson's Mom's over, which is where the masks were cured.
The alien from 'Laser Blast' was pretty lame looking also.
Goofy? Ha ... Zone Figher's enemys are a little goofy, most of them.

The Bad Guy From KIBAKICHI 2
Also The Killer Penis From The Movie PERVERT
Baron von f**klove von mummyhead von nefarious from the movie DIE YOU ZOMBIE BA***RDS
The giant lobster From The Movie TEENAGERS FROM OUTER SPACE
agreed. the creature from the haunted sea is definitely my favorite goofy monster. also Ro-Man from Robot Monster is in there too
The bird from The Giant Claw. Especially the hair on the crest.
I always found the monster and skeleton in The Lost Skeleton of Cadavera to be goofy. Also have to give props to the goofiest creature which has to be the one from Creature From The Haunted Sea. Also there was this bizzare horror film I saw recently called One Eyed Monster where the killer beast in it was Ron Jeremy's detatched alien controlled penis. That had to be one of the weirdest film I have ever seen.

I think Evil Brain From Outer Space takes the cake for goofiest monster fight scenes.

i totally forgot all about that one. that is definitely up there too
The Other Night I Finally Saw The Movie THE GIANT CLAW
They Should Have Called It THE GIANT TURKEY FROM OUTER SPACE
Not Only Is It A More Attractive Title But It Also Sums Up The Movie
The monster in The Beach Girls and The Monster- basically, a goofier version of the bassman
the dead Nazis in Dead Snow
Jet Jaguar is my hero!
Jet Jaguar is everyones hero!

What about the rat/bat/crab combi from Angry Red Planet..... The killer tree from From Hell it Came..... The Creeping Terror, and the Brainiac from erm Brainiac I saw the one mentioned from Evil Brain from Outer Space but really all the monsters from Starman qualify. Excellant topic.
The goofiest of all monsters is actually scary because he's rarely trying to be goofy

One of my favorite goofy monsters has to be this early 1st season Power Rangers villain. The Pineoctopus. The voice they dubbed in was beyond ridiculous.

No one has mentioned the turkey headed monster from Bloodfreaks
(http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x9/blackcanary2000/horror%20movies/bfreak6.jpg)
the aliens from Killers From Space! :teddyr:
ooohhh forgot, alway's liked this goofy guy as well.

The Party Beach monsters who appear to be gorging on hot dogs.

The Venusian from It Conquered the World.
And almost any monster in a Larry Buchanan film.

I too find the
GIANT ANTIMATTER SPACE BUZZARD quite silly.
The leeches in Attack of The Giant Leeches are pretty funny.
Killer Shrews also gets a mention for having shrews that look an awful lot like dogs.
What? No love for Torgo, the Master's favorite satyr?
I also like the polar bear from Santa Claus Conquers the Martians.

Hey, fortunato, long time no see! :teddyr:

How come no one mentioned Gamera? It's obviously a toy and it shoots fire from it's mouth and ass :bouncegiggle:
How about the shag carpet monster in The Creeping Terror?
Definitely one of the funniest MST3K episodes.

I've often said only the Japanese could have come up with a giant, flying, fire-breathing turtle with tusks, who is a friend of children everywhere. :teddyr:
Even though I love the old 1950's version of WAR OF THE WORLDS and think it's an all around great movie, the martian in the farmhouse just cracks me up - but only ONE scene. It's the one where it is running away, running sideways swinging it's long spindly arms over its head from side to side! Just hilarious!

I think the new ones from the Tom Cruise movie are worse. From what I hear, the director took parts from different designs and just started combing them together.
Ro-Man is pretty silly-but how can you not love his design.

the god monster.....that is all
The Sasquatch in SUBURBAN SASQUATCH, if someone hasn't already mentioned it. His nipples were drawn onto the plastic "breastplate" with a marker.
The man-jellyfish in Sting of Death. It's far worse than anything else in this thread.
While the monsters from "Creature From The Haunted Sea" and "The Horror Of Party Beach" are spectacular by any standard, I have to point out the sheer greatness of Herschel, the 6-foot, blood-drinking turkey in "Blood Freak" and the bunnies with bloody foam painted around their mouths in "Night Of The Lepus."
