Title: The Premonition (1973)
Post by: lester1/2jr on August 10, 2009, 10:10:32 AM
Boy is this ever a weird, slow, and strange movie but I have to admit I liked it for some reason.  It is certainly unique.  I can say for certain it involves an adopted girl being pursued by her birth mother and there is some stuff about extra sensory perception or ESP.  As for the crying painting, the woman playing the harpsichord on the city hall steps in the middle of the night your guess is as good as mine though I guess it has something to do with the little girl and the ESP.  and there's something with a carnival, making the whole thing as thoroughly nightmare ish as it can be.  enjoy with cough syrup. screenplay by Thundarr the Barbarian sidekick Ookla the Mok (http://www.geocities.com/TelevisionCity/Set/3995/icons/sucla.gif)

I can't find a trailer or half decent image sorry

This is one that I have never seen.  We had a copy in the video rental store I worked in during the 1980s, but I never took it home for some reason.  I think it had a crappy box cover.  I love it when people post comments about movies like this and the date is (197?) . . . gotta love the 70s!
