Title: KILLER KLOWNS FROM OUTER SPACE at RADIATION-SCARRED REVIEWS

KILLER KLOWNS FROM OUTER SPACE (1988): http://radiation-scarred-reviews.blogspot.com/2009/08/killer-klowns-from-outer-space-1988.html (http://radiation-scarred-reviews.blogspot.com/2009/08/killer-klowns-from-outer-space-1988.html)
"If you think about it, KILLER KLOWNS owes a great deal to THE BLOB, made 30 years earlier. The set-up premise is the same, many of the characters are the same stereotypes...just replace carnivorous protoplasm with greasepaint and hair dye."

Great review for a great movie. I do believe that the differences between this movie and The Blob are what makes it great (not to say The Blob isn't great). The color, the absurdity, the imagination, they are what makes it fun. Driving an invisible car, shadow puppets eating people, the outrageous weapons, it's like the writer just said "I'm going for it, ridicules is the word of the day", and never got scared.
