I agree with Dark mid 80's
Being on Finders Keepers was a dream for me that I never lived out. Just having the ability to trash a room looking for something was and still is b*tchin' to me.
well i grew up on the 90's Nick. i'm only 15! :teddyr: :tongueout:
I loved Ren & Stimpy! When I watch some of the re-runs now I can't believe they aired that stuff before bedtime! Rocko was OK too. But Doug and Rugrats? eh. Actually, I really hated the Rugrats, I don't have a good reason for it though.

I saw both. I think they both had good stuff, but I would say the early 90s and mid 90s original Nick programming was really well-written, entertaining kids programming. In terms of storytelling, I'd say that era was superior.
Hey Dark remember this? lol

Yes I remember that, that show introduced the whole slime thing if I'm not mistaken.
I also loved Double Dare.

I miss Are You Afraid of the Dark. I had to tape some of the old episodes from the show last Halloween when they reaired.
90s Nick was the best. You had Rugrats,Clarissa Explains It All,Pete & Pete,Doug,Are You Afraid Of The Dark?,Ahh real monsters,Rocko's Modern Life,All That,Kablam,The Secret World Of Alex Mack,Wild And Crazy Kids,Figure It Out,Legends Of The Hidden Temple,The Ren & Stimpy Show, and Salute Your Shorts.
Nick use to have a variety of choices for kids, to cartoons to tv shows, I miss it.
Being born when I was ('84), gave me the great opportunity to see Nick from what I feel was it's best era, '88 to '96 or so. Not just the really great 'sitcoms' they had, like Clarissa, Salute Your Shorts and Hey Dude, but they had a good variety. Shows like Roundhouse and All That turned me on to sketch comedy, which evolved into my love for SNL and MadTV.
Then they had great cartoons, too. Doug, AAAGH Real Monsters and Rugrats were cute little toons. Then you had shows like Ren and Stimpy and Rocko's Modern Life, which was a kids show on the surface, but had a lot of humor that adults could love (much like The Simpsons and South Park later on.) New Nick wouldn't dare show Ren and Stimpy, as it's 'politically correct' to not show it.
 You Can't Do That on Television! was the s**t! Is it on DVD?
I used to watch the Rugrats all the time... that show sucked. Hey Arnold and Aah! Real Monsters were both awesome though.. That and Legends of the Hidden Temple.
To me bring back the late 70's and early 80's Nick like You Can't Do That On Television, Live Wire, Lights,Camera,Action, The Third Eye, Out Of Control, Turkey Tv.
