Alan Turing was a WWII code breaker ( he help decode the Enigma machine) and one of the fathers of modern computing. It is worse than shameful how he was treated by the British Government when they found out he was gay. I only wish that I could sign the petition below, but it is open only to UK citizens (I hope you guys that frequent the board will sign it.

I agree with the petition but I never give my address out on the internet. :bluesad:
Turing was a fascinating individual, indeed. I did a paper on him in college, and thus began another one of my obsessive research journeys. I wish I could sign that petition, too.
If an AI signs it and no one notices, does it count for two signatures?
