This morning I saw on my local news how Miley Cyrus was going to preform in concert next month in a near by city. While personally I can't stand to hear her voice, my 11 year old is obsessed with her. So being a good parent I looked up information on tickets. That's when my head went to shaking. Ticket Master had tickets to the show in Birmingham,AL listed at going for just under $80. I felt that was a bit much but figured it mayof been because I had not been to a concert in years. So I looked at other music acts that were coming to the same venue. Every other act listed except one was anywhere from $20 to $60 cheaper. The only act that wasn't was Creed which I also hate. Needless to say, my daughter is not going to be going to see Miley Cyrus because I am not going to pay out $80 a ticket. I told her and even showed her that I could by a single park ticket for one day's admission at Walt Disney World for less.
I applaud you sir, for teaching your child value for money.
Give Miley about 10 years. She'll be playing coffee houses and state fairs by then.

I figure in 15 to 20 years she will either be doing the former celebrity reality circut or working in a coffee house. If there was any true justice in this world her dad would be the cook at a Waffle House now.
