Hi. I'm hoping somebody can help me. I'm looking for a b-movie from the mid sixties to the mid seventies. It was in color. I don't remember any of the actors' names or even the title, but I remember the plot.
Basically, a man fell asleep and when he awoke, he found the world was ruled by women. The only other thing that stands out in my mind is that the women all had two belly buttons.
I've gone from video store to video store and nobody has known what I'm talking about. Maybe some of you can help.

Could it be SLEEPER, starring and directed by Woody Allen? He falls asleep and wakes up in a totalitarian future. It's not ruled by women though and I don't remember anything about two belly buttons though. Was it a comedy or a serious film?
The movie you're thinking of is Planet Earth (1974) starring John Saxon, however I don't remember the women having two belly buttons (although they might have).
The two belly button thing DID turn up in a related movie, Genesis II (1973) starring Alex Cord, but it didn't have women in control.
Both films were created by Gene Roddenberry and featured the character of Dylan Hunt. Both films showed him being put into suspended animation and being woken up in the future. Maybe you're running the two films together?
