I loved that guy, I grew up with him on the TV, he scared me. Great personality, he will indeed be missed.
R.I.P. Capt Lou
Oh yeah, he was Mario on the Super Mario Bros. Show wasn't he? Never saw it, but he did look like a real life Mario almost. We will miss you.

Thanks, Lou.
R.I.P. Captain Lou Albano. While he was a wrestler and an actor, the role he was best at and should be forever remembered for was as a wrestling manager extraordinaire managing more tag teams to WWWF/WWF tag team gold that any other manager in wrestling history. In the 1970s, he was one of the men all wrestling fans most loved to hate managing the likes of the Wild Samoans, Fuji and Saito, the Moondogs and the Yukon Lumberjacks to name but a few not to mention sending challenger after challenger after World champs Bruno Sammartino and Bob Backlund. In the 1980s, he would soon come to be loved after making amends with Cyndi Lauper (gaining fame worldwide after appearing in her music videos) and managing fan favorites like the U.S. Express and the British Bulldogs to tag gold. A wildly eccentric character was Captain Lou Albano, a man tailored made to be loved or hated by many, whichever he preferred at any given time. A true legend of professional wrestling. :bluesad:
