Title: Monty Python Week on IFC
Post by: meQal on October 20, 2009, 05:07:01 PM
For those of you in the US (maybe Canada not really sure), IFC (Independent Film Network) is holding a week of Monty Python films and specials each night. Last night they showed Monty Python and the Holy Grail and tonight they are going to show The Life of Brian. Both will be repeated this week. Monty Python at the Hollywood Bowl and other specials are also scheduled to be shown this week as well.

From "Monty Python and the Holy Grail"

Two of the most important questions ever asked in a film.

"What these curtains?'

and "What do you mean? An African or European swallow?"

LOL!

I have been enjoying "Monty Python: Almost the Truth (The Lawyers Cut)" - a six-hour documentary on all things Python.  It has been very good: lots of 'new' interview footage.
