I have been trying to figure this out for a long time. I was very young when I watched this so it could be a little mixed up.
A man is jogging in daylight down a path or road near the woods and a creature is watching him.
I think that the guy may have been a little chunky and stops to eat a twinkie .
the creature reminded me of the creatures from Labyrinth who pop their body parts off and connect them to other parts.
I watched this in the 80's and believe it may have been some kind of television show but I am not sure..
It could be something from "Amazing Stories"...
My Pet Monster?

Don't get too excited, the main plot point is dog grooming.
I remember this scene too. But I can not remember the movie. I will dig deep into my dark realm of my memory.
Keep the faith.
Later,
John
Well, it is good to know that another person remembers this.
I will look into the My Pet Monster but I am pretty sure that was not it.
Thanks guys. :drink:
