Just by chance, we reviewed an unusual number of b-movies this week:
Eric Young covered the zombie-esque independent movie PONTYPOOL (http://366weirdmovies.com/capsule-pontypool-2009/)
I tackled BRAINIAC (http://366weirdmovies.com/capsule-brainiac-el-baron-del-terror-1962/), the creature whose "head is hung with more phallic symbols per square inch than any other Mexican monster of its era," and CITY NINJA (http://366weirdmovies.com/capsule-city-ninja-tou-qing-ke-1985/), the crazy-assed sex & kung fu flick that may or may not have been written by incoherent ninja maestro Godfrey Ho.
On a more serious note, PAN'S LABYRINTH (http://"http://366weirdmovies.com/40-pans-labyrinth-el-laberinto-del-fauno-2006/") became our 40th movie to be "certified weird."
Please enjoy this week's unusually thick flow of b-movie badness.
Brainiac is soooo awesome! :teddyr:
