So I'm wondering if I should spend a penny on Feeders/ Among Us... well The shipping and handling is $2.98, so my grand total would be $2.99.
It would just be funny to tell people I paid a penny for this movie.
I bought Swamp Women for a penny plus shipping. Pretty fair price, after viewing it. Yeah, I'd go for it.
Yeah, why not. Seems a reasonable price :teddyr:
:bouncegiggle: I would buy ALMOST any movie for a penny!
For a movie of that quality, I say a penny is a fair price. I wish I could've got Monster A Go-Go or Frogs for that price.
I used to buy quite a lot of VHS tapes from a video liquidator on eBay. There base cost on tapes was $1.88, and I would bid on quite a few of them. If anybody ever bid anything over that $1.88, well, I didn't buy them.
Later, they sold more tapes without the original boxes for less. I don't remember what the price was. I think it was $.88, sure it wasn't a penny. Plus shipping, of course, but they would combine orders.
So, yeah, paying a penny is pretty funny. Of course, it would be funnier if you found a movie that somebody paid you to take off their hands.
I'd buy Feeders for 8.00; I bought NightThirst for about that much ._.
I'd buy it for $19.95 if the box claimed it was the unrated director's cut never before seen in the U.S. (even if this was a lie).
Hellz yeah I would! I don't care if it's a piece a crap, you can't go wrong with a movie for $0.01!
I once bought The Jar on VHS for only 5 cents and I still feel like I got robbed on that particular purchase.
That movie is so unwatchably bad it's not funny!
The tagline should have been "It Blows the Lid off Boredom!"
Personaly, for a VHS tape...no. Since I no longer have a VCR. For a DVD, I say- go for it.
Go for it. For that price, it could be filmed in some twit's backyard with their untalented friends using their dad's 20 year-old camcorder and it'd still be worth the price.
I find it funny that people are still giving Nukie advice more than 6 months later.
So, Nukie, did you ever buy it? You may have missed your chance: the price could have gone up to $0.02 by now!
No, I never bought it, the shipping price was too much for me to justify spending $3.00 on a movie that anyone could make themselves.
Though I did spend like $7.00 on "Weasels Rip My Flesh", I justify that because it was made by a high school in the 1970's, and such a person would be hard-pressed to find editing and recording equipment during that time, let alone get others to appear in a movie for free.
Ever tried to make a full-length movie in high school, it's not easy, let me tell you! I never got it to happen.
Also "Weasels..." was made as a serious effort, whereas "Feeders" isn't and claims it's a comedy solely on being low-budget.
