Sweet! I want moon water.
Me too! I want to buy a 24 pack of bottled moon water! I wonder if it'll taste like Aquafina?
But seriously, this is a very interesting discovery. I wonder what affect this could have on the scientific community that is studying the moon.
You'd figure the boys who have already been there would have done a bit of fly fishing while they were out there.

Lest we forget, Tintin discovered ice on the moon way back in the 1950s. :teddyr:
I'm in as soon as they find some beer.

That is really cool. Makes perfect sense when you think about it. Lots of water out there in the solar system. And if the moon split from the earth, it seems almost a given, in hindsight, that it should have water frozen somewhere under the surface.
Eight years after "2001 Space Odyssey" and ten years after "Space: 1999," we may be one step closer to a permanent base on the moon.
One of the needs would be water, and there it is. Of course, we don't know whether it is drinkable or can be made drinkable.
And depending upon how hot it is, it may be a source of geothermal energy.
