Pretty much all really micro micro indies are maligned on most people based review systems, netflix especially.  Sometimes they're right, sometimes they are clearly missing diamonds in the rough.  This is definately towards the latter though it's not as immediately and obviously awesome as, say "Elevator Movie" or "the worst horror movie ever made" (original 2005 version).  If you didn't know better you'd think you were watching a pointless extra of the wrap party!

A scuzzy manager guy is throwing a welcome home party for a local boy made good in Hollywood, his client and friend.  The party is full of constantly networking , narcissistic, delusions of grandeaur having indie film scenesters.  I don't want to give away too much but the party slowly but surely heads south as long percolating frustrations come to the fore in full view of the many reality show style cameras that are capturing the event.

It's an improvisation and some of the actors decisions are more believable than others.  I didn't really buy the manager guys relationship with the blonde who looks about ten years older for example and when things explode there would likely have been alot more swearing.

It's also a little strange to have any movie about a situation where there are alot of cameras.  In one scene, the guy gets mad and kicks the cameraman out of the room, but then we see the subsequent conversation! It's not a mistake, it's just that there are cameras, then there are the actual cameras being used to make the movie!

but If you have alot (It's a VERY slow builder) of patience I would definately check this out.  I daresay it's even a classic of some kind.
