I'm new to the forum. Hello to all!
I've started this thread 'cause I'm needing some help here!
I'm having a real tough time searching for bad movies that I would find entertening.
This vary from person to person, but for me an entertening bad movie must have two things:
1- (really) stupid dialogues that are meant to be taken seriously
2- terrible special effects
Perhaps, one of my all time favorites is the classic Plan 9 from Outer Space.
Any advice from you guys, naming a movie that I may find entertening?
Thanks!
If you liked Plan 9, you'll probably like Ed Wood's other early films as well. Glen or Glenda (http://www.badmovies.org/othermovies/glenorglenda/) and Bride of the Monster (http://www.badmovies.org/othermovies/bridemonster/) are some good ones.
Also:
The Brain that Wouldn't Die (http://www.badmovies.org/movies/braindie/)
Beast of Yucca Flats (http://www.badmovies.org/movies/yuccaflats/)
The Giant Claw (http://www.badmovies.org/movies/giantclaw/)
Your best bet is to look at the reviews (http://www.badmovies.org/movies/) on this site.
Hope that helps! :twirl:

The only two Ed Wood's movies I've watched were "Plan 9" and "Glen or Glenda", and although I think the first one is a masterpiece, I didn't like the second that much... For me it just looked like a documentary about transvestism =P
I'll give "Bride of the Monster" a try, and I'm already downloading "The Giant Claw"
See ya.
Troll 2
I agree with those films posted above. I also highly recommend The Room (2003), Pieces (1982), Sisters of Death (not sure the year offhand), and The Killer Shrews. I did like Glen or Glenda, though. It's totally incomprehensible.
Try on Peter Jackson's first couple films.
Bad Taste
Brain Dead
Meet the Feebles
They're all in the reviews section I think

The Oh Mother of bad movies...
Return of the Boogeyman (1994)...
* Endless Flashback of a radio droped into a bathtub (after the first 10 you'll be asking how many times do we need to see this?)
* Movie must of been filmed by midgets (You get lots of good camera angles going up the persons nose)
* If you'll seen the 1980 movie and didnt understand it, dont worrie... You'll get to see clips of the 1980 film and Annie will tell you what going on frame by frame.
:)
American Ninja.
THE COWBOY KILLER. Pure golden cheese.
NINJA BACHELOR PARTY. Recovering Robutussin addict becomes a ninja!
THE LOST EMPIRE. "I hate robot spiders!!"
Wild Women of Wongo
Blood Feast
I Drink Your Blood
For some curiously bad special effects, try HERCULES (http://www.badmovies.org/movies/herculeslou/) and ADVENTURES OF HERCULES [HERCULES 2], with Lou Ferrigno (dubbed)
I'd second BRIDE OF THE MONSTER as well
And of course everyone should see the Christian anti-drug gore movie about a turkey-headed killer, BLOOD FREAK (http://www.badmovies.org/movies/bloodfreak/) (even though Andrew only gave it one slime)
Silent Night, Deadly Night Part 2 :teddyr:
yeah, Sisters of Death was pretty bad. got an old copy on vhs. Some bad movies to recomend would be
1. Count Yorga vampire
2.Women Unchained (pretty bad)
3.The Car
4.The Crawling Hand
5.Furture Sport
6. Just about any movie that was featured on MST3K
7. 9 Deaths of the Ninja
If it's bad dialogue and terrible special effects you want, you're going to be hard-pressed to beat Equinox (1970)
However, amend my previous post, and to be fair, I will give the filmmaker tons of credit for being as ambitious as it was. However, you could say the same of Ed Wood.
Alien From L.A.
Journey to the Center of the Earth (1989)
Return of Swamp Thing
The Deadly Mantis
Sorceress
The Sword and the Sorcerer
Captain America (1990)
Vampirella (1996)
The Brain From Planet Arous
The Mole People
Journey to the Seventh Planet
You probably can't go too wrong with directors Albert Pyun and Jim Wynorski or something starring John Agar when it comes to quality bad movie cheese.
Jaws 3: Some of the worst special effects I ahve ever seen, but yet it just makes me laugh out loud.
Cool World: It's half-half to me. Some stuff is so bad, that is bad. However, a lot of the time it is so bad that it is entertaining.
Return of the Killer Tomatoes. :bouncegiggle: So stupid yet so fun.
Frankenstein's Castle of Freaks (1974) IMO it's VERY enterteining lol!
