My mother got me another copy of The omega man on blu ray for christmas. Hopefully it can be returned. Did this happen to anyone else?
my family didn't getme any movies this year.
Ithink they are trying to tell me something
Yep. I got the VHS of Rocky Horror when I already owned the DVD. My parents knew this, and I asked for the VHS. So it's cool. Also, I got this Horror Movie Calendar, that came with 4 DVDs of all the movies featured in the calendar. I already owned a few of those. (The Terror, Night of the Living Dead, Dementia 13, etc...) But I wanted the calendar, not the movies.

i saw that at the bookstore. I wanted it for the same reason despite i owned all the movies.
I got The Long Dark Teatime Of The Soul, a book I already have. I'm surprised at how many of my friends have never read any Douglas Adams though, so I'm glad I have a spare copy to loan out and make some converts.
Does Night of the Living Dead count? I think I have 5 copies (maybe more)... and just I got a recent copy, it was attached to a 50 classic horror set I got from Christmas...
Although, I have not watched any of the Night of the Living Dead copies. (Seen it too many times on TV)
I got The Ape, (I already own that) instead of A*P*E.
How could they mess it up? :teddyr:
My wife gave me the blu-ray of "Braveheart," which I already had on DVD.
Thankfully not. The only movie I got for Xmas that I didn't purchase myself was Death Race 2000, and I didn't have it yet.
I didn't get any DVDs for Christmas. I did, however, get a Best Buy gift card. I will not use it to buy movies I already own.
