"Sally in THE BRAIN FROM PLANET AROUS proves to be more of a heroic figure than Steve, the guy we would normally peg for the heroic type in these movies, is capable of being. Bit of a switcheroo there, especially given how domestic Sally is shown to be in the beginning of the film, cooking for the men in her house-dress, heels and pearls. Once she understands the situation, however, the homemaker takes a back seat as Sally takes up the fight against Gor. It is Sally's courage and love for Steve that saves the world, not Steve's science or even his dull wood axe."
