It isn't made anymore, but imagine if it still was. Would you buy this for your kids? If so, why?

Not a parent at all, but I wouldn't.
creepy :teddyr: I dont buy dolls. Even when my daughter was young she was never interested, thankfully. My SIL got her a doll for xmas when she was 3 and later that morning I found it in the trash can with its head ripped off. :buggedout:
BURN IT!
Oh hell yeah! I'd use it to punish them :teddyr: Seriously, my teenage girls would have tons of fun with that, just annoying the hell out of everybody.
If the laugh weren't so maniacal, it would almost be cute. That is not a "having fun" laugh. That is an "I've been driven insane and now I'm going to kill you" laugh.
No. But thats becuase I won't buy my kids a "one trick pony" toy like this. Add in the annoyance factor and its a definite no-go.

I banish pretty much anything that makes noise so I'd say no.

Good point. The kids have made her rock and laugh for a couple of hours. Now what? It's a toy they'll quickly tire of, but not before they've driven you up the wall with it.
My mom would probably think that was cute and get it for my daughter. She actually got her some really frightening looking dolls for Christmas this year.. they look like they'd hide under my bed and run out and chew my ankles off... they're staying at my mom's house.
Nope. My youngest is terrified by dolls that move or make noise. She would not go near it. My other two daughters would use it to annoy people and torment their little sister.
