The nominations are in! (Nobody nominated AVATAR, probably because it came out too late). So which will be the winner? My vote goes to THE HURT LOCKER; my prediction is that UP will be the board favorite (although I think it will be in a close race with DISTRICT 9).
Zombieland because of the goofiness of it
voted for the hurt locker  up was cute but I just didnt enjoy it as much as pixar's other movies. Its my least favorite after cars.
I only saw District 9 and Zombieland. I'll give a slight edge to District 9.
Definitely Up. If this movie didn't touch you on some emotional level, then I have to wonder if you have a soul.

I think you forgot to vote because UP is still sitting there at 0%.
Having a soul , I liked UP a lot. Definitely in my top 5 for the year, but not my #1 choice.
District 9. No contest.
Well, that was easy. "Up" is the only movie on the list that I saw last year. Hopefully, 2010 will be (IMHO) a better year for films, but I'm not getting my hopes up yet.
Guess I'm going with Inglorious Basterds, since its the only 2009 movie I saw.
What about Star Trek?
I would nominate D-9, but Zombieland was FUNNY! :teddyr:

What about Star Trek?
No one nominated it; I guess people had forgotten about it by the time nominations rolled around?

Also, it kind of sucked.

It wouldn't make my top 10 movies of the year, but I thought it was above average and it was quite the crowd pleaser at the time. A lot of people fawned over it when it came out but I guess they forgot about it soon after.
HURT LOCKER. Riveting. BASTERDS is a close 2nd.
