Art Clokey, the creator of Gumby & Pokey, passed away. Sad news for me.

Long live Gumby.

Those little critters entertained me for years as a child.
Rest well, Mr. Clokey.

I found Gumby odd at times but enjoyable.  I recall growing up my brother having a poster with Pokey and Gumby at the beach.  The caption read, "Gee Pokey What could go wrong on a perfect day like this?"  Of course a shark is approaching Pokey's raft.   Oh well, RIP

An old friend of mine mentioned this tonight at dinner... of course, I'd heard.  ART CLOKEY lived a long life.  Good night, ARTHUR.

My memories are not so much of Gumby and Pokey, but of Davey and Goliath, as he had a way of making those morality lessons go down so easy. R.I.P. Art.
