I just remember this movie out of the blue a while ago. I remember enjoying it as a kid and as I think about it, I still like it today. I like the idea of the plot (similar to the short story from Stephen King in some sense), the voice acting for the toys were pretty good, a good cast, the CGI was decent for its time, it indulged in cliches for action movies, and wasn't bored throughout the movie.
So, if you have seen it, what's your thoughts on the movie?
I love the movie, especially the weird designs for some of the monster toys. The most memorable scene to me is when a kid puts a soldier toy in the sink blender (or whatever you americans call it).
I thought it was a pretty good movie. Something to watch with the family. Good effects.

Garbage disposal, that's what we call it.
I like the film. It's a really great concept, with some really great voice actors. Not one of my favorites though - probably the biggest problem it has is the main storyline with the lead kid is so generic, and all the characters around him are so much more interesting than he is. Hell, even the girl he wants is way more entertaining. Still, it's fun.
