I was told this morning that I'm going to get an invite next week to speak at the British Film Institute during a season of South African film screenings there in April 2010, so look out London! These guys seem to think I know something about film.... :buggedout: :buggedout:
My trip to Potsdam, Germany in June is still in the balance but I hope I get to go as I would like to visit the old DEFA Film Studios in East Germany ~ I think that was the place where they made that film by Quentin Tarantino with thee bed spleeelllings.
The problem I have Trevor is that I'm 225 miles away in Preston. Plus, I've booked my annual leave already, for the middle of March. Otherwise, I could've made the trek down to the capital to meet up with you. I'm sure you could possibly arrange something with Doggett if he pops up again in time (or I could speak to his g/f).
Even though I'm no fan of London, I hope you have a great time when you fly over.
You've got a cool job Trevor - flying to Germany, England - when you're not on one of your month long holidays :teddyr:

"But, zey must be varned.....ze underpants.....zey go vid me......" :buggedout: :buggedout:

So close and yet so far. That's a shame. :bluesad: Hope Trevor has better luck meeting up with Doggett.

You'd love it here. Lots of great scenery, trails, fishing. And Newt's town has that big catfish going for it. :teddyr:
Actually, Trevor, if you ever get a chance to do the Toronto International Film Festival, let me know and we'll figure something out.
Trevor, if you come to the USA, if you give me enough notice, I will do my best to be where you are. No promises. But I'd love to meet you, gentle sir. But, please, keep your undies under lock and key.

Just tell them the chains are for traction. If they don't believe you, show 'em the skidmarks. :teddyr:

I received my official invite to the British Film Institute's film festival this morning. :teddyr: What makes me smile about it is that the person who sent me the invite has the same name as my adopted sister.
