I can't exactly remember how I heard about this but It was probably from some thread on some geeky movie board and I saw it come up on FMC and I gave it a shot. Man, I hope they show it again soon, because it was good. It wasn't "great", but it was entertaining and it had that feel. Somewhere between Scooby Doo and an awesome horror movie.
It appears to be made for TV so it's kind of cheesy but more professional than, say Warlock Moon which has been getting some discussion around here lately. It reminded me a little of " neither the sand nor the sea" but was ALOT better than that. I don't want to get that into the plot: a guy is writing a book , which he is doing orally on tape, hence the Norliss Tapes, and he gets wrapped up in some supernatural s**t. The girl is hot, her sister is stacked and hot and the mystical antique shop lady is the type that appears in Street Carnages "Street Boners" and is very hot and hip. And There is a huge statue made of Clay and human blood that looks like Lou Ferrigno. I'm lester1/2jr and I'm all about " the Norliss Tapes"
