Change Ulysses S. Grant to Ronald Regan?! Never! Grant should stay! He's a cooler president (My opinion) than Regan was.

The FEDS are typically making changes every so many years in the paper money to combat counterfits...
I like Grant, he's the only president that got a traffic ticket while being president... :)
Although, I like Ronald Regan... so to honor all those that bashed Ronald Regan in the 1980's we should have "Bonzo" pic on the 50 dollar bill... :)

I'm a huge Reagan fan, but I like Grant too . . . his courageous stand for civil rights, to me, overshadows the much-ballyhooed corruption of his administration. How about we put the Gipper on the quarter? I mean, Washington already has the $1 Bill - does he really need to be on TWO different currencies?

Win one for the Gipper!
I just think it's a little early to be putting Reagan on currency. He was only president about 30 years ago. Although that's not to say that he didn't have any major accomplishments. He helped bring down the Berlin Wall and end Communism. If that's not something then I don't know what is.
I always wanted to see President Teddy Roosevelt on currency or maybe Eisenhower.

That's one of the reasons why I like Grant as well. I believe he while he was president he almost completely wiped out the KKK and a few African Americans were able to hold office as well. Plus, I admire how he was able lead the Union a bunch of great victories during the Civil War.
I'm neither a fan or hater of Reagan, but I just don't like the idea of removing Grant from the 50.
How about redoing the penny? I'd say go with Gerald Ford.
They just re-did the penny - at least its rear face - in honor of Lincoln's 200th birthday, and the 2010 pennies have a different look too. I am kind of glad we've changed some of our coinage in recent years.

I haven't seen that one yet. I think I had one of the new nickels the other day.
I say put Joshua A. Norton on currency, but no-one listens to me.
I'm of the opinion that we shouldn't put anybody on money until they've been dead for about 50 years. Give their legacy some time to sink in.
If there's an ex-president who isn't on money, but deserves it, it's Teddy Roosevelt. Far more than Reagan.
Not to mention Reagan is too silly looking to ever look good on money.
I think Sonny Bono should go on the 50.
Or.....Jesse Ventura.
Or Clint Eastwood.
Or Shirley Temple.
Or the Terminator-
or-or-or-
Seriously-if they put Raygun on the 50-they my as well put Nixon on a 100. Mebbe Andrew Johnson on a 500. Howzabout Herbert Hoover on a 1000?
Actually-they should put cool Americans-like Sitting Bull or Einstein or Alan Shepard on money. Not phoney bulls**tters like politictians.
