Do you watch NASCAR?
Every morning-when I get to work-at breaks and lunch-lotsa my fellow workers blab on and on about NASCAR.
The got a pool type of thing going-they b***h and argue about it.
Very obsessive (kinda like BAD MOVIE fans and comic book geeks-).
Anyhow-do you watch it?
I personally find it really boring. If I wanna see fast car action-I'll watch a 70's road movie.
No. I love cars, but watching them go around and around in a circle is BORING! I must confess I love watching a good demolition derby though.
What's a NASCAR?

my cousin LOVES NASCAR, but he and my other cousin hates number 24 and 48, they win too much. personally, i'll play the video game and i love only a few cars, the old number 3, aka Dale Earnhardt Sr. (r.i.p.), the old number 22, the formerly Cat. car and my favorite number, 29, and 88.
I for the record can't stand Nascar. My mother, father and sister in law worship it. I am just thankful it never filtered to my wife. I've said it on this board before, if they add rocket launchers to the cars I'll be the first one watching. However, as RC pointed out before on this board I have better things to do than watch cars go in a circle for hours. I see enough of that driving to work every day.

I can't give you enough karma for that one :bouncegiggle:
We don't need no stinking NASCAR! (However, I did take my father and my nephews to a Monster Truck event a few years ago.)
I watch it once in a great while. I don't really enjoy it, but there's absolutely NOTHING else on TV sometimes (What am I to do, turn it off? :buggedout: ). I guess there's some minor thrill in seeing a car slam into a concrete wall at high speeds. Those pickups crush up pretty well too - sometimes they end up looking like a pop can that somebody put a cherry bomb in.
I enjoy watching other types of racing, you know, with sports cars going around tracks, not ovals. Sometimes they'll have an in-car camera on a Formula 1 car racing on a city course - holy f*** man, you gotta be insane! :teddyr:
Would rather watch paint dry.

LOVE demos!
I watched it once. Bored the hell out of me. It's just as bad that we have Formula 1 that's big in Europe, but it's the same thing. Lots of cars going round the same boring track for hours on end. I don't see how people can really LOVE that type of thing and follow it religiously. Plus, I have never and will never consider anything a "sport" if an engine is involved.
I can't stand any time of car racing in sport form but I do love movies and TV Shows full of car chases and even some with car races?! Love the old Hot Rod films from the 50s and 60s and the car chase films you hinted at from the 70s and early 80s.
I don't watch NAStyCAR, but I don't hate it because I have a soft spot for rednecks.
I don't understand the appeal of this at all, and would rather watch a few episodes of Barney the Dinosaur.
I really don't like NASCAR. I have to say, I hate Jeff Dunham, but his Bubba J. NASCAR bit was actually kinda funny... Because it's true.

The only way I would watch is if all the drivers looked like Danica Patrick and raced in lingerie, and we spent the whole race switching from dashboard cam to dashboard cam. Pit crews would need to be girls in lingerie, too.
Like most of the others, I voted "No." But, if I wanted to watch it in person, there's a NASCAR track just about a hour north of where I live.

No,thank you. For those of you who do,then, more power to ya.
I don't get it.
I never get into it or saw the appeal of it.

OH MY GOD, THEY'RE MAKING A LEFT TURN!!!! :buggedout:
I prefer Monster Jam, but that's not saying much now is it?
No, the only real car racing I can stand is Rally Cross and I barely watch that.
I always prefered Demolition Derby....but it never seems to be on tv anymore.
