Title: And here's a site for hard-to-find movies on DVD-R . . .
Post by: The Burgomaster on March 19, 2010, 02:35:30 PM
www.cinema-de-bizarre.com

Most movies are $9.99, and you get 1 free for every 2 you purchases. They will ship free to the U.S. and Canada.

I just ordered:

* BLOOD AND LACE
* THE INCREDIBLE MELTING MAN
* MARK OF THE DEVIL PART 2
* OPEN SEASON
* ROLLING THUNDER
* SAVAGE SISTERS
* STAR CRASH
* WARLORDS OF ATLANTIS

And I selected these as my free DVDs:

* LADY DYNAMITE
* THEY CALL HER CLEOPATRA WONG
* WEAPONS OF DEATH
* DAUGHTER OF DRACULA

Hope the quality is good . . .

I also ordered these DVD-R "classics" from Something Weird:

* RUMPLESTILTSKIN (the old K. Gordon Murray imported, dubbed kids movie . . . I saw it in the theater when I was about 6 years old!)

* BANG, BANG, THE MAFIA GANG

* FABULOUS BASTARD FROM CHICAGO

* JIMMY THE WONDER BOY (a Herschell Gordon Lewis kids movie)

* PRINCESS AND THE FROG (another low-budget kids movie)

Hours and hours of entertainment here!

Well, so far I have watched:

* BLOOD AND LACE
* THE INCREDIBLE MELTING MAN
* MARK OF THE DEVIL PART 2
* OPEN SEASON
* ROLLING THUNDER
* STAR CRASH
* WARLORDS OF ATLANTIS
* WEAPONS OF DEATH

The quality of each movie is exactly as advertised on the website . . . generally very good to excellent.  Since my original post, I have ordered 27 more movies from this site.

Yes.  It's with William Devane and Tommy Lee Jones.  The thugs shove Devane's hand in a garbage disposal.  He gets a prosthetic hand with a hook on the end of it, sharpens the hook to a point, saws off the barrel of his shotgun, and sets out for revenge.  The ending is one of the best orgies of violence ever brought to the silver screen.  One of my favorite revenge movies!

Thanks, Burgo.

So, after losing his hand, William Devane wasn't exactly [h]armless, was he?  :wink:

I have to "hand" it to you two, those are some tasteless jokes.
