I don't know how to feel about this, really. On one hand I'm sick of Star Wars, on the other hand a comedy is a different approach.
But then again, "different" isn't always "good."
They guys from Robot Chicken are behind it so I'll give it a viewing. Though I'd prefer to watch Star Wars for the action. George Lucas has tried to insert comedy in the past to his franchise. I hope to hell he isn't involved with the humor in this show.
A Star Wars sitcom?!?! - very strange in my opinion. Maybe it'll work.
Still a few bucks to be made, milking will continue.
The phrase "Use the laugh track, Luke" doesn't do anything for me.
I've never seen anyone mine a franchise as thoroughly as Lucas has. He's taken something great, and brutally raped it. And the worst part is that there's no going back; the damage is done. He has killed "Star Wars" with the prequel trilogy, and now he is just humping its corpse while it is still warm by creating a "Star Wars" sitcom.
Someone should lock Lucas in a lead-lined fridge and place him at ground zero of a nuclear blast..... :hatred:
