So, according to this article I read, the Library of Congress is planning on archiving every tweet from 2006 on.  
Why? 
God only knows.  Sounds a bit like a waste to me, but then, I've not gotten into Twitter (hell, barely into Facebook.)

You're not alone. I tend to forget I even have Facebook. I mean, if something actually worth telling friends and family comes up I'll call them or email them. Putting it up on a public space seems kinda impersonal to me.
