Dead Man (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dead_Man)
Dead Man is an amazing movie from start to finish, although not for everybody.
Basically, big city naif Johnny Depp travels to the old west, where he is almost immediately killed. Well, maybe.
There are many good reasons to recommend this film, but I'll give the one that sticks out for me. The presence of Native Americans in this film is almost unparalleled, and blessedly free of stereotypes. Gary Farmer's performance in this film is my favorite Indian on film ever, and I'm not super happy I have so few examples that I can pick one out.
It's an odd film, but I can't say enough good things about it.
Good Will Hunting
Snatch
Lock Stock and two smoking barrels
Tarantino films
Fught Club
Se7en
Godzilla
...
I'm probably forgetting thousands.
As for B-movies:

The Wasp Woman
Frankenstein meets the space monster
Killer Klowns from Outer Space
Probably forgetting thousands here too
