The Mechanic and The Stone Killer are two of my favorite Charles Bronson films. I saw that director Simon West is in process of making a remake of The Mechanic starring Jason Statham. Does anyone have any input on this?
I don't really care for Jason Statham, so I'll probably avoid this remake.
They'll propbably end up making it look like "The transporter" and ruin the whole thing. I like the original, I think it is the best thing Michael Winner ever did.

I think SCORPIO with Burt Lancaser was Winner's best. But I find THE MECHANIC and DEATH WISH entertaining too.
