I think this was from the '90s approximately. It was set in a science lab, with a bunch of scientists working on various sci-fi experiments. It was very character driven and had a dark sense of humor about it. One experiment I remember had a husband and wife working on an immortality formula. The woman wanted to have a child, but the husband didn't. The immortality formula didn't work out quite as planned, it just made people a lot younger. So the woman gave a dose of it to her husband and made him into a baby or a small child, thus getting her wish for a kid. I think the main plot involved a time travel device, and some people were trying to steal it, but some guards showed up to stop them. So they rewound time to a few minutes in the past before the guards got there, and made their escape. These various plots seemed to have twist endings like an Outer Limits episode or something.
Anybody remember this?
Is this Golden Years by any chance, Jack?
I don't remember much of it but it sounds like what I do remember about Golden Years.
Do you mean the Stephen King miniseries? I'm pretty sure that's not it. The guy who got turned into a little kid was a research scientist, not a janitor, and the whole thing was just one of the subplots. I'm pretty sure the main plot was about the time travel device. Thanks for trying guys
I think there was an episode of DUCK TALES like this too....sorry, that's all I've got. :bouncegiggle:
The part where the guy becomes a baby thus granting his wife's wish for a child sounds like it is right out of the MiSTied "Merlin's Workshop of Mystical Wonders." lol
Thanks for trying :teddyr:
I think that this might be "W.E.I.R.D. World" (1995).

That certainly sounds like it from the description on IMDb. Thanks Andrew, you are the undisputed king of obscure movies! Too obscure to even have a DVD or VHS release unfortunately - I guess I'll just have to make do with my memories
Original Poster Jack seems satisfied w/ Andrew's solution!
