I know we had an old, old thread that dealt with this topic . . . but I hate resurrecting old threads! Since we're all more or less family here, post a recent pic of yourself in this thread so we'll all know who we are jawing with. I'll even go first . . .

My daughter snapped this pic of me this summer as we went canoing down the Brazos River near Whitney, TX.

An old photo. I'm no longer living in that room, that's not my computer, most of the figures on the shelf have long since vanished into some boxes in storage, and that mask is no more.
...what? I like masks. I find the concept, use and history of masks fascinating.
Instead of a picture, I'll give you a video to watch.
That's me in the orange vest at the last Airsoft event I hosted on June 26th, 2010.
I held a raffle for some really cool prizes during a break in the action. The winners of the two biggest prizes was a total surprise.
(I made over $1000 from that event!)

Me at my daughter's baptism. I'm the small one in the white dress. The guy holding me is someone I never want to speak of again...

I'll post one, but I don't know how to upload a picture into a message from my computer. I know how to use the insert image option, I just paste in an link to a picture that's on the Internet somewhere. Is there a way to upload an image from my laptop?

I used www.photobucket.com. You upload the photos for free and they'll give you a direct link.

This is me at the base of the Teotihuacan ruins in Mexico about 3 years ago. Forgive the popped collar, it was hot and sunny.

But seriously, I can't figure out why in the world the computer is being a total dick.
Here I am, last October in Brazil. I've lost 25 pounds since then, but you get the idea . . .

I was thinking it was more of a 'boys club' thing. Interesting that so many of you guys have that one additional thing in common, that's all. It
does create a remarkable superficial resemblance.

Yours truly, posing with Tom Atkins (viewer's left) and writer/director Fred Dekker (viewer's right), at a double-feature in Rochester, NY, screening THE MONSTER SQUAD and NIGHT OF THE CREEPS. The previous night (which I'd also attended), Tom Atkins hosted a double-feature of THE FOG and HALLOWEEN III.
Saucerman, consider me jealous sir! I'd give anything to meet Tom and Fred!
As for the facial hair, I have very little in the way of a chin. Shaving it off soon and starting a full beard this fall.
Fred was actually sincerely touched when I told him how choked up I always get during the scene in CREEPS where J.C.'s final message is being played on the tape recorder.
Extremely touching moment in a fantastic film. I actually just introduced my 7 year old daughter to NOTC over the weekend. She absolutely loved it!
Oh I could post a picture of myself, but why? I rather be the unknown figure on the board whose true self remains a mystery! However, you can use this for a mental image:

Quite close, we were at the pool on Fort Hamilton, NY. It's the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge.
We were in the kiddie pool with the kids during adult swim in the big pool. This picture is both me goofing off after a child tossed a ball into my face and Jenna being her normal picture posing self (nobody posed her, she's just a photo ham).

Aha! I knew it had to be New York. Those two bridges are extremely similar in design, to my eye anyway! I was wondering about the pool because I was pretty sure there used to be a Whitestone pool but thought it had closed down. Awesome.
