I was led here via a link when I was looking for information on Tom Laughlin's Billy Jack ~ I came over here, I read Andrew's review, I gained a family and I stayed.
The smell of soiled underpants led me here . . .
Actually, a guy I used to work with showed me Andrew's reviews and I started reading them frequently. Eventually, I started contributing to the forum.

I'd have thought that those would have had the opposite effect. :buggedout: :buggedout:
I was mad at stuff and bad movies helped me calm down, so I saw a review of THe Brain from Planet Arous and decided to join.
either that or the stench of 100 year old underpants.
Something about "free beer". I'm still waiting. :hatred:

Come to SA and you can have all the free beer you want, DS. :drink: :teddyr:
Soon after my husband got his first computer (for work) and the internet access - back in 1995/6? - I did some searches to see what was out there. (I had no idea!) Searching 'B-movies' brought me here. It was the most interesting site and the friendliest so I kept visiting, joined, lurked and eventually started posting.
I was brought in by the "What Was That Film" board. I was trying to remember a film I had seen as a lad that turned out to be Psychomania. I can't remember what my google search was, but it lead me here. Got hooked right away.

Psychomania.
Good film and cinematography by the great Ted Moore BSC ~ South Africa's first Oscar winner. :teddyr:
I was watching Most Extreme on Animal Planet one day and they showed a clip of Squirm. Out of curiousity and at the premise of the film, I searched the Internet for more information about it and reviews about the film. That brought me to this site. That was back in 7th grade! Then I lost track of the site until I found once more in my Sophomore year. Joined the site a few months later and here I am.
Years and years ago before I even knew the IMDB even existed I was trying to prove to my brother that a movie named Redneck Zombies DID in fact exist. I'd lost my copy and figured maybe this new fangled internet thing could help. I ended up here, thought the reviews were hilarious and have been visiting ever since.
Looking for a review of CEMETERY MAN. Loved what I read and started reading the rest of them, then the forum... the rest is history.
I stumbled on a B-Master's Cabal Set of reviews, and Andrew had the biggest list of movies revieed once I followed some links. I was hooked, squatted on the boards for a while and then chimed in. Ash, DaveBlackeye, Uthar, and a few others are still around from those days.

I was reading the reviews on "Stomp Tokyo" and found a link to Andrew's review of "Krull". That would have been around 2002.
I didn't discover the forum until late 2006 and lurked for a year or two.

Jimmybob told me about this site.
I was browsing internet sites for B -movies and found this site and began reading Andrew's hilarious reviews and was hooked and joined soon after. :teddyr:

You don't know me very well . . .
Actually I stumbled on to the site when searching for short movie clips I could link to online for a Powerpoint presentation back while I was doing a graphic design course in college. Actually almost everyone in the class also used the movie clips on the site too  ! Hope I didn't crash the site Andrew  . Yeah and I've been visiting ever since. I mostly read Andrew's reviews early on and didn't really come to the forum until after Gerry shut down Scifilm's forum. Then several Scifilmers moved here including allhallowsday, myself and a few others (some of whom I think have moved on elsewhere many at the CHFB and some at the Wormboard - but whatever happened to marthahunter, IronWolfe, Greg K., Bobby-G, Mindflash?? Are RC and Uncle Bela one and the same?!) and of course several Scifilmers were regulars here already (Flangepart, boyscoutkevin, Andrew, Gerry, Trekgeezer, Menard).
Menard.
THE BAD MOVIE REPORT links.
A saw his mention of our favorite leatherneck and I'v been checking in for a long time.

I go there. Used to. Not as much now. I think that's where I saw the link.
My boyfriend introduced me to the site a few years back. I've been reading Andrew's reviews ever since, and finally figured "hey, the folks on the forum seem pretty cool. Why not chat with them?"
In my grade 11 year of comp science class, around 1999-2000, I would get bored and would look for horror movie reviews and I stumbled across the site night of the Creeps and I looked through the links and they brought me here. The reviews I found were hilarious and got me hooked, thanks Andrew lol! My journey through b-moviedom had begun, though I had always liked weird and offbeat movies, this site solidified that love
