Mrs. Voorhees wins Initiative (rolls a 15) in the Surprise round, draws her knife and Bull Rushes Alice, but even though Alice is caught flat-footed, she misses (rolls an 8). Alice makes a successful Dex check (rolls a 13), takes a 5-foot step and disarms Mrs. Voorhees (rolls a 17 on a Sunder attack). Mrs. Voorhees follows up with multiple face-slapping attacks for a total of 8 damage.
Alice counter attacks landing a solid blow (12 damage) with a rod iron across the back (barely succeeding due to her Moustache+1). Mrs. Voorhees fails her Fortitude Save (rolls a 9) and is knocked out. Alice flees and makes a Hide check (rolls a 10).
Mrs. Voorhees awakens and Searches the nearby campsite while failing her Will save (rolls a 3) vs. Insanity. Alice remains hidden but rolls a Critical Miss (rolls a 1) when she makes unnecessary noise. Mrs. Voorhees discovers her with a successful Spot Check (rolls an 18). Alice fails her Save vs Fear (Will Save roll of 7) and is paralyzed for two rounds. Mrs. Voorhees breaks through the door (rolls a 14 on her Strength Check).
...later on the beach...
Mrs. Voorhees succeeds with a Bull Rush (rolls a 16), knocking Alice to the ground. Both make Grapple checks but Mrs. Voorhees prevails (rolls a 14), slamming Alice's head into the sand. Alice breaks free after two rounds (Strength Check rolls a 15), picks up the Machete +1, +3 vs. Soccer Moms, and rolls a Critical Hit (natural 20), beheading Mrs. Voorhees for 22 damage!
After a near total party wipe, Alice receives 500XP, 20 Gold, a Blue Sweater of Stench +1, a Machete +1, +3 vs. Soccer Moms, and a severed head.
Alice gains a level and a role in the sequel!
Nice. Now, do the same scenario in Hackmaster and my day will be complete.
Thanks. I'm afraid I haven't seen the movie you mentioned; I might need to add it to my queue.

It's actually a sort-of spoof derivative game system based off D&D 1st and 2nd edition.

I'd never heard of it before either, had to look it up.

Right. Hackmaster is a game system, very much inspired by the old school D&D.
