The three early reviews I read are quite positive.  There are comparisons to Gremlins and Monster Squad.  In other words, horror for kids that isn't R-rated gruesome but still has actual scares and villains who are actually menacing.

Is that where Santa buries his elves?  'Cause that would be totally cool to find a huge mound of dead elves.
