Title: King Kong coming to Broadway 2013?

The all-singing, all-dancing musical version with a 23-foot tall Kong!

This is the same bunch who did the Walking With Dinosaurs arena show - so they just might pull it off.  (Well, the giant mechanical gorilla part anyway.  Can't be too sure about the music.)

Yeah, doesn't seem like a good idea.  This isn't like Little Shop of Horrors, where the plant is central locational wise but peripheral to most of the action.  Kong is front and center for huge parts of the storyline, and I just don't think it would work unless they REALLY drastically alter the story - and if they did, will it still even be Kong anymore?
