A few day's ago my sister called me and told me that a dentist has seen something that looks cancerous in her husbands throat... So I told him "He should see a doctor."
Anyway I've talked to my sister today and she is like, Oh he's not going to see the doctor...
What???
2 days ago she was crying on the phone and today she is acting like nothing is wrong.
The focus should clearly be on your sister and her husband at this point and not on what you think is the right thing to do. I can tell you what I think I would do if I found out I might have cancer, but until it happens, I can't say anything with certainty. Certainly he should go to the doctor, but people react in different ways when they find out that kind of thing. Some people just don't want to deal with it. It's similar to what happens to parents when they find out there's a possibility of a developmental issue with their child. Some will deal with it head on, others will find ways to avoid it because they don't want to acknowledge that something might be wrong with their child. This is a highly sensitive matter that you must force yourself to deal with delicately. Do your best to encourage a trip to the doctor, but accept that there is only so much you can do.
That's about all I can come up with.
HI
I remember when i noticed several small lumps on my testicles, for about a month my wife nagged me to go to my doctors. The reason i did not want to go was because i was terrified, what would i do if it was cancer?, how would my children react?, your brother in law will go in his own time, right now i should imagine he is very concerned man, turned out i had nothing to worry about,,
Thanks... I'll have my fingers crossed that he does the right thing.
I was still hoping to find out that it was a canKer sore and not a canCer sore :bluesad:.
See the doctor! Do not pass Start, do not collect 200 dollars, go straight to the doctor. I hope all is OK.
