Post by: bloodkrishna on October 02, 2010, 01:41:55 PM
Just watched this werewolf movie

it's about LAPD have a new speical dept.
the head of this dept. named Adam Garou
the dept. claim is a group that helping any police which fell in different trouble issues
gambling, injury on duty, wife leaving you blah blah blah

Adam tried to recuit a great cop called Max
but after Max go to the meeting that Adam held,
Max discover that actually that dept. is a branch of X-Men Wolverines
Adam Garou have some serum
inject in normal human can turn them into invincible wolverine
they do their own kind of justice, to kill all the bad guys gangsta on the street of LA

I don't have much expect for this movie
but it's quite good,
just the 2nd half of the movie [about Max slowly discover that Adam is a real Bad Guy] drag a bit

things to watch for:
LAPD jump in the crime scene thru chimney like they are santa claus
wolverine cop jump on the top of the bus to shoot bad guys on car
wolverine cop kill a gangsta by driving a motorbike with him crash against wall
human cop intercourse with werewolf cop
late night team wolverines holocaust

They needed to make this movie an R or better in order to work the premise effectively.  And some extra dough for effects and writing wouldn't have hurt either.

In theory, "vigilante werewolf cops" sounds like a winner.

However when you've got no naughty bits, limited violence that's not graphic enough, and a storyline that doesn't deliver enough vigilante werewolf cop action, it falls short.

MVP is the man, though.   :drink:

It is unrated because it is straight to video, but the violence in this is DEFINITELY R-rated.  The opening blood squibs in the club would get it an R by themselves.

As I think you were referencing, here's a link to the reader review I submitted here a longass time ago.

I don't like it quite as much now, but I still find it a fairly enjoyable film.  Likable lead character, good concept, and a handful of good action scenes.  It's too bad that its second half really doesn't live up to the promise the opening first half hour or so implies.  Could have been great, it's just decent as-is.
