Big weekend for the wife and I. It's big to us anyway, having a 2 1/2-year-old and a 4-month old.
It's my wife's birthday, so we're having a get-together and I'm making pan-seared scallops with a wine/cream sauce, portabello risotto, and a tomato/mozarella/basil salad. I love to cook but haven't done anything very gourmet in a while, so I'm looking forward to it.
Sunday my wife and I are running the 5k Race for the Cure in downtown Phoenix. My wife ran it once, but I never have. We've been working up to it and finally were able to run 3 miles non-stop a week ago. 5K is about 3.1 miles, so we're good to go.
going to a wedding tomorrow (and no, I'm not gettin married yet.)
Saturday: picking up and driving my sister to work in the morning because her car is kaput. Going shopping with my father afterwards. No other plans for the rest of the day.
Sunday: cooking dinner with my other sister like every Sunday. She is bringing some ground beef so we might make pasta or pizza. After dinner it's movie time. We will be watching at least three.
I'm going for my first guitar class!
Watching the last DVD of SPARTACUS: BLOOD AND SAND.
And going to our school's homecoming game.
And grading about 200 papers.
Working two days of the three day weekend and probably changing a lot of diarhea diapers.
Working Saturday afternoon til about 5. After that, going out to a bar or club around here, catch up with some friends. Sunday, my aunt is throwing a little party for her twin boys (my cousins), who I believe are turning 5, so seeing the family then. Plus, football's on, so trying to catch some games. Sunday night is gonna be tough: Eagles play at 8:30, and Boardwalk Empire is on at 9.
Evil Dead the musical tonight :)
Bills game tomorrow :(
