Post by: InformationGeek on October 29, 2010, 08:52:47 PM
As compared to the cheesiest and the best, here are the best insults in movies.  I have no idea, but I think this list may not be accurate.

"We're two of a kind, Mr. Bond. What do you say to that?"

"I say there's a very useful 4 letter word, and you're full of it."

I can't watch it right now because the sound of my computer is having issues, but it better have "You son of a motherless goat" and "Yes, it's true–this man has no dick."

I had fun watching that video and it definitely had some of my favs on there.  I'm glad they ended on "Frankly Scarlett I don't give a damn".  So subtle but for the context its brilliant.

In an old Grocho Marx movie, (I forget the title) this woman tells Groucho that she's had " a change of heart" about him.

Groucho, in his inimitable style, says this to her:

"A change of heart wouldn't do you any good because you still have the same face."

Classic!  BTW anyone remember the name of the movie I quoted?

Can't remember exactly.  The guy had far too many good lines.
Heck, we could probably do a Top 100 insults from Groucho and still have some left over.

I kind of like when Rizzo says to (I think) Marty in Grease "Nah you can still see your face" after she asks if she likes her sunglasses.

I can't see the list due to the work cpu's restrictive settings but I hope this is on it:

"I've seen better film on teeth!"

You could do 500 of those.  That was a pretty good compilation.  Good choice for #1.

It's too long for a video like this, but in terms of being the cruelest and most effective I think Judd Nelson's little speech to Molly Ringwald in the Breakfast Club is up there.

"With a face like yours, I'd hope you'd try to make up for it with some kinda personality."-- Raphael in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: the Secret of the Ooze.

"If my dog was as ugly as you, I'd shave it's butt and tell it to walk backwards."  The Sandlot.

It's true, this man has no dick!

I have seen some disgusting crud in my time, but you take the cake!

Not so fast, Vigo. Hey, Vigo, yeah you the bimbo with the baby. Didn't you know the bug shoulder look is out? You know, I have met some dumb blondes in my life, but you take the taco, pal. Only a Carpathian, will come back to life, now and choose New York. Tasty pick, bonehead. If you had brain 1 and that "huge" melon on top of your neck, you'll be livin' the sweet life, out in southern California's beautiful San Fernando valley.
