Why isn't there a thread for this? :buggedout:
Anyways I bought and watched Highlander: The Animated Movie yesterday. It's just a few of the episodes from the cartoon series edited together and passed off as a movie. Believe it or not its worse than Endgame and The Quickening. To top it off it's nearly as incompetent as the s**tty video game it spawned. http://spoonyexperiment.com/2010/10/19/highlander-last-of-the-macleods/
Connor MacLeod is killed off and the hero Quentin MacLeod never really fights the villain Kortan . Also GUNS ARE EVILLLL!!!
It takes place 200 centuries in the future where Scotland is now partially a desert and everyone sounds bored or stupid. French Canadians shouldn't make cartoons!
Posted this in the "Recent viewings" thread yesterday:
Devilfish (1984)
I did watch the unhampered version of this called Monster Shark: prehistoric sharktopus is terrorizing the waters of Florida. The local Sheriff is clueless but a fish expert and a computer genius are already investigating.
Ridiculous Italian exploitation with some fun blood letting and a decent enough creature. Nice pacing, good action - what more to ask for? 4/5 Cheese.
i'm gonna have a puff and watch "i eat your skin" tonight!
Godzilla vs The Sea Monster
I wasn't expecting much, and was suprised how much fun it was. As soon as the dance marathon started I started to smile, I loved it. Great soundtrack too!
Btw,I feel pretty sure that the sail boat, and the set pieces for the boat are the same ones that were used in Matango.
I really like I eat your skin
My cheesy movie is "Suspria".
I just watched the MST3K version of BRIDE OF THE MONSTER. I like Joel and the 'bots, but I must say I prefer this one without the jokes. I do get a bit defensive when they pick on poor ol' Bela. ("I now have the strength of a hundred heroin addicts!")
Some of jokes for this film did have me laughing out loud, though. ("Wow! You can flush the fireplace! Santa must love this!" Closeup of Bela's eyes: "That'll put you off eggs.")
I don't know why - but I hate the word "riffs". :teddyr:
I have the Bowery Boys in PRIVATE EYES saved on my DVR. I haven't watch it yet but I'm pretty sure it will be just as boneheaded as all the Bowery Boys flicks. And I haven't met one yet I didn't enjoy.
Mac and Me. My God is that bad with so much product placment.
I'm currently trying to finish Shrunken Heads, but the underage love/sex interest plot came from f**king left-field! :buggedout: :drink:
Batman and Robin. Pretty much nothing else needs to be said.
I have Colossus and the Amazon Queen and the Gamera movie Attack of the Monsters loaded on my phone, "Just in case."
Hai Guys!
New to the forums but ive been a fan of this site for a long time.
Last Bad movie i saw was Flesh Gordon 2: Meets The Cosmic Cheerleaders.
Ive seen alot of b-movies but i gotta say...this one really was something.
Uninvited (1988) last night. Still quite the cheesy experience.
Devil Bat
Not my first time watching it, but this one's always a pleasure to see. One of my favorite Lugosi flicks.
She gods of Shark Reef which I talked about in the "Recent Viewings" thread...I think it was so bad I've been reluctant to get back to the Sci-Fi set since then...
Last night:
I won't divulge the ending!
Pocket ninjas- I would watch this movie more than I would watch Monster A Go Go, but that ain't sayin much. :tongueout:
"The House By The Cemetery" - Not too bad at all really if somewhat disjointed.
'Brainscan' - Mislabeled as a horror. Its more of a sci-fi thriller. Oh, and its 90's-tastic.
Last bad movie I saw:
"Dogs" (1976)
The picture was pretty crappy, but the film itself was great. Family dogs becoming wild dog packs and eating people around the campus of a small university in the middle of nowhere. Some moments of half decent gore, and some brilliant bullying of a fat kid that gets made to run around a lot.
A MST3K Marathon was streaming online yesterday, pretty fun! Overdrawn At The Memory Bank, PumaMan, Manos: The Hands Of Fate.
I considered subjecting myself to some FourLoko to make it through Manos again.
"Takers", just yesterday. It feels like a Michael Mann thriller dumbed down for the "The fast and the furious" crowd. Seriously. It was kinda fun, though.
Leprechaun in Space.
Honestly, I don't know why I do this to myself sometimes. It's definitely better than Back to the Hood, but my favorite is still 3.
Wasp Woman.
It was rubbish. Nice idea though.
SCARECROWS (1988). The star is a guy named Ted Vernon. He made about 9 movies. Reading his bio on imdb,he was a prizefighter in Florida.
The movie itself...I dunno. Nuttin to write home about.
I gotta agree about I EAT YOUR SKIN. The zombies with the fried egg eyes are groovy.
Teenage Zombies- A group of 16-19 year olds goes on a boat ride to a 'deserted' island, only to discove that it is run by a scientist and her zombies, add two younger teens, a sheriff and assistant sheriff whose combined acting is woodier than a woodie, a guy in a gorilla suit, also some really cheese dialogue/fx, and you get this movie, plus many others! 4.45/5
Thanks killing, and it was bad! and not like so bad its good just straight bad
Just finished: Space Probe Taurus... Bad but Fun!

I kind of liked THANKSKILLING, but I can see why someone wouldn't.

I found it worse than the
Funny Version of House Of The Dead.

Are you saying the version Uwe originally released
wasn't the funny version? :bouncegiggle:

It was gift for the critics who didn't like it apparently so they have obvious pop-ups and nonsensical outtakes.
Shrunken Heads from Full Moon Pictures. (With music by Danny Elfman)
It starts out OK, but then it gets really ridiculous and creepy. They have underage exploitation going on whether they intended it or not. They focus on a 15 yr. olds and tell her to dress in a negligee then ask if she's a virgin. :hatred: :buggedout:
I wonder how the hell does Charles Band manage to stay in business with all the s**t he put out. Ed Wood and TROMA are way better.
I picked up a bottle of cheap whiskey the other night and settled down to watch
Petey WheatStraw the Devils Son in Law and followed that up with
Porkys Revenge and Drunken Wu-tang
I just DVR'd Babylon AD, and frankly it wasn't bad at all. It was a bit generic but it certanly wasn't the dog everyone claimed it to be. I quite liked it.

On the other hand, I just watched "Skyline" and it's every as bad as people say. At least the last act is quite spectacular.
The Feeding, Not sure of the year or anything. Came in a 4 pack from Wal-Mart, my dear lord I think that B-movies were much better in the past if for no other reason then the actors weren't so plastic acting. They had a certain desire to at least play the part like it was a part and not so dead of any emotion it seems like a toy is doing it or inappropriate emotion.
