Title: Introduced my daughter to Trumpy
Post by: AndyC on November 30, 2010, 06:52:32 AM
Well, not exactly Trumpy, but Trumpy as voiced by Crow T. Robot.

It started with Ro playing with some little stuffed Hello Kitty toy, which started me into "Delicious kitty...Kitty's like a potato...oh, so nice." And eventually all the other "little winged potatoes" and so forth. Not only did it crack her up at the time, but she started going around doing her own best imitation. Anytime she wanted to make me laugh, it was "Kitty's like a potato."

So I showed her the actual clip from Pod People. Used my wife's iPhone and surprised her with this YouTube video at bedtime last night.

By her reaction, I expect I'll be hearing her Trumpy impression for a while.

I love that movie.  I have the Mistified version.

"It's evil kid"

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

What I thought was funny was the creature with the opening credits does not look like Trumpy or the parent Trumpy.  Got to love the B-Movies.

Definitely one of the best MST3K episodes, for sure. I'd put it in the top five.

"Face it kid, Trumpy never loved you"
This movie isn't any more inappropriate for kids than "Nukie" or "Mac and Me".  E.T. was perhaps the hardest movie to rip off effectively.

I'm not sure, but where you live, Andy, isn't exposing your child to such things considered child endangerment.  :bouncegiggle: :bouncegiggle: :bouncegiggle:

I dispute that remark, my mum introduced to both Trumpy and Torgo in the same night. :twirl:
